History

Back in 1930, Nazzareno Baioni came up with a brilliant idea and founded the company that still bears his name, specializing in mechanical constructions of agricultural machinery and plants for soil processing.

When, over the 1960s, the company management went to Nazzareno’s sons, Osvaldo, Ulderico and Alberto, changes were brought in that involved the production of agricultural machinery being gradually abandoned to concentrate the efforts on making machines and plants for the process of quarry and mining aggregates.

Over the 1970s, the Baioni Company, which was by then already established on the Italian territory with many plants especially in the South of the Peninsula, started to export its crushing plants all over the world, particularly in Africa, Asia and the Arab Countries, where sales proved very successful also thanks to the attention to technology and the use of top quality raw materials.

The expertise in the most specific aspects of the sector and the ability to design products that really meet customers’ needs have turned Baioni into a major company both at national and international levels in the field of aggregate crushing, screening and washing.

In 1984 the company moved into a 70,000 m2 newly-built industrial unit, with 28,000 m2 covered and occupied about 200 workforce. The commercial activities cover about 50 countries worldwide and the Baioni products became synonymous of reliability, quality, sturdiness and safety.

Nowadays, in addition to the crushing sector, Baioni Crushing Plants SpA also invests in recycling plants for demolition materials, where the market demands high performances and most advanced technologies, giving the company the opportunity to apply all its know-how in designing autonomous mobile units. The management has been in the hands of the third family generation for some years now, with the subsequent widening of the production to include mud treatment plants.
