SP log washers are designed to remove polluting materials, tough contaminants and other deleterious materials from gravel, stone, rock and various ore feeds. Ideal machines for scrubbing difficult materials such as tough insoluble clays, ball clays, conglomerates, soft stones and cemented aggregates containing clay.

Two synchronised, counter-rotating shafts fitted with intermeshing paddles generate a powerful scrubbing action inside the wash tank. The resulting friction and abrasion break down clay lumps and agglomerates, releasing impurities into the wash water and ensuring efficient removal of contaminants that cannot be eliminated by conventional washing methods.

The shafts are connected by bolted flanges with a dedicated centring system, allowing easy replacement while ensuring precise reassembly. Special wear-resistant steel paddles maximise scrubbing efficiency, improve wear life and help reduce operating and maintenance costs.

The rotating shafts are coupled by bolted flanges fitted with a dedicated centring system. This design allows the shafts to be replaced whenever required, while ensuring accurate alignment and reliable reassembly.

Made from special wear-resistant steel, the mixing paddles enhance the machine’s disintegration and scrubbing capacity, delivering optimal washing performance. They also extend the service life of wear components and help reduce maintenance and operating costs.
