Description

Baioni MIT impact hammer crushers are designed for tertiary crushing of various rocks and ores, for the production of high quality sand.

This involves a high-speed endless rotation which ensures that the material to be crushed achieve a high percentage of fines and a good cubical shape. The high speed of the impeller and the arrangement of the mobile impact armors, one on each side of the machine, allows a crushing almost exclusively by impact, thus reducing wear costs and energy absorption.

The material to be crushed enters the machine through the feeding mouth, falls into the chamber where it is launched by means of a hammer rotor against the impact armor. The rotation of the rotor can be either clockwise or anticlockwise, the movement is periodically reversed so that the wear on either faces of the hammers is evenly distributed, allowing for maximum exploitation.
