Based on the experience gained in the field of land reclamation, BaiDec centrifugal separators are the result of a design and production that combines high separation efficiencies and transmission capacity with maximum savings in terms of energy, water and maintenance costs, they are used in sludge dewatering or sludge thickening systems in order to separate the liquid material from the solid. Baioni offers a wide range from the smallest to the largest for industrial sizes.
The operating process involves the entry of the product to be separated, the solid-liquid separation, the liquid phase expulsion, the solid phase dehydration and the solid phase expulsion.
The principle on which the operation of the centrifuge is based is the difference in specific weight of the materials to be separated as the solid particles suspended in a liquid tend to precipitate due to the force of gravity. Thanks to the use of the decanter, this process is reproduced inside a drum which, given the high rotation speed, multiplies the force of gravity making this separation almost instantaneous.
This type of machinery is ideal for treating sludge that comes from mineral production processes, civil purification, agro-food, industrial, livestock and animal oils and fats.
